Isabella & Antonio
This is a profile of the bride Isabella Rose and the groom Antonio Patterson of their life, careers and hobbies.
Isabella – The Bride
After many years of studying, I completed my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology in 2013. Currently working for a well-known private practice in London as a clinical psychologist, with the assessment and treatment of mental illness, abnormal behaviour and psychiatric problems, of private clients.Hobbies are, reading, music, romantic holidays and meeting up with friends.
I enjoy my work, watching romantic-comedy films. I also enjoys nights out with my girls, shopping and shopping and oh yes, shopping!
Antonio – The Groom
I’m a dance choreographer, which is like the director and the screenwriter of a film, all rolled into one, but for dancers and dance routines instead of actors on screen. I basically create and plan the routines for performers to play out, usually to music.
I became a professional dancer after obtaining my Dance & Musical Theatre degree, working long hours travelling, performing all over the world, but now own my own dance studio. What I love about my work is the planning from start to finish of dances, costumes, music and visuals, to engage an audience completely.

Our Story
The Isabella & Antonio Story
A love story can have a beginning, this is because we remember how it started and this relationship and wish it not to end.
Love was not the basis of our relationship.
It was purely based on doing what is right and from the start we knew we felt secure in each other’s arms.
Love grew deeply as time flew by. Now we’re getting married and feel blessed with “ our happiness together”.
Life is full of surprises, we never expected our paths to cross and it did, all for the better.
As Antonio would always say, “I found my destiny, service is my passion and happiness”.
Anyone can make you happy by doing something special.
But only someone special can make you happy without doing anything…
This is our story of how we (Isabella Rose and Antonio Patterson met, how Antonio proposed to me, captured on video, the story of our first date and also showing, our first holiday and our time together slideshows.
We hope you like it…
The Day We Met
Isabella Josephine Rose
How We Met
Isabella: I first met Antonio when a mutual friend brought him as a guest to a dinner party at my house in celebration of my Master’s Degree in Psychology.
I was intrigued by Antonio and was secretly hoping to get to know him better. At a certain point in the evening, he was quite taken with an oil painting on my living room wall and asked me about it. I recounted to him that two years ago, while visiting my sister in Manchester, I had purchased the painting and then absentmindedly left the package on the train. My heart was broken as it was an original by an artist who I had admired for years and I had saved for many months to acquire the piece.
Much to my disbelief and amazement I had received a call that evening from the gallery where I had made the purchase. Evidently, the person who found it returned it to the gallery, in the hope of the gallery could contact me.
At this point in my story, Antonio’s tanned face suddenly became white as a ghost. When I asked him if he was OK, I was simply flabbergasted at his response. It was Antonio who had found the painting on the train that serendipitous day.
Now just two years later, my hope of getting to know him better has come true and in true Antonio-style, he recently surprise me with the wackiest most endearing proposal.

How We Met
Antonio: Some would call it a chance meeting, but we believe we were destined for each other. Four years ago I had just moved back to London from Leicester to start my own dance studio.
Two years ago, an old friend, Jack invited me to a small get together. It was a wonderful evening and I found myself very drawn to the beautiful and charming hostess, who was the best friend off Jack’s sister.
After a wonderful dinner, we all moved into the living room to chat over coffee. That’s when I spotted it – a stunning piece of artwork that seems so familiar to me – as if I’d just seen it in a dream. I asked the hostess about the piece of artwork and she is as she began to recount the story of how it was lost and then found I felt my heart skip and the colour drain from my face…
The Proposal
Antonio choreographed a dance routine for Isabella, which he performed with a number of family and friends in Piazza San Marco (St Mark’s Square) the main public square in Venice (Italy).
Tourists and passengers stared, amazed and surprised, at the entire performance. The song you will hear is the Hall and Oates classic ‘You Make my Dreams Come True’..

Our First Date
Friday: After getting of work, we met up and Antonio said he’d like to take me on a date, the next morning, I agreed and he told me to pack light and oh yeah, don’t forget your passport.
Saturday: We flew to New York, he took me to Central Park, where we found a nice spot in the park. He took out his blanket, laid out the food (wine, meat & cheeses, dip, pasta). We ate listened to music through his portable speakers conversed. Then it rained on us out of nowhere…
We cleared up and went running down the street, drenched but in good spirits. We went back to the hotel, dried ourselves of and watched movies all night…
Our First Holiday
It was very sunny upon our arrival to Philippines. Our hotel was right on the beach front, which looked great, very modern and welcoming from the outside.
We had a very cosy room with a sea view, balcony, en-suite, which had a very good powerful shower head which made showering much easier and quicker (Antonio).
We strolled hand-in-hand across the beach, we swam together in the sea, we made good use of the indoor and outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and spa facilities, we had a couple of treatments at the spa (Isabella) and had one of the best massages ever (Antonio). We also ate at four of the onsite restaurants, the oriental, Italian, Mexican and the Brazilian restaurant, the food was delicious.
It was a holiday we’ll never forget…

Our Entourage
This is our entourage of our parents, our Maid of Honour, Best Man and the bridesmaids and groomsmen.
Even the precious jewels including uncut diamonds would never be able to express how precious you are to us.
You are all the most important people in our lives…
Most Important People
The Bride’s Mother
Sarah: I’ve been working as Assistant to the Director for a major marketing firm for the last six years.
We’ve all helped with the planning the wedding, guest list moderator. I’ll be acting as one of the wedding reception hostess and attend to anything Isabella requires on the day.
You’ll also be seeing me dancing the night away at the reception.
The Bride’s Father
Marco: One of the proudest moments in my life, to see Isabella getting married to Antonio. We’ve all helped with, the scouting of potential wedding venues.
I’m the guy, who’ll be picking up additional to-dos on the day. My chores will include airport duty, co-ordinating maps/directions to the wedding site, doling out tips to wedding day staff and a variety of toasting and hosting tasks.
The Groom’s Mother
Anna: I’ve been working as an Accounting manager for the last eight years in accounting and finance. My responsibilities are setting up and directing accounting departments, system reviews and financial, reporting and analysis for private corporations and small businesses.
I’ll be sharing some of the responsibilities with Sarah (Brides Mother). My shining moment will be dancing with Antonio at the reception – ‘The Mother/Son dance’…
The Groom’s Father
Giovanni: I’ll be fulfilling numerous dancing, toasting, and “manly” obligations (i.e. escort elderly women, move tables, address problematic service).
I’ll also be checking in with the Marco (Bride’s Father) occasionally to offer moral support.
The Maid of Honour
Lisa Jenner: We’ve been ‘Best Friends’ since primary school. We share all our highs and lows together…
She’s been my right-hand for the way in planning this wedding. She’s been my emotional supporter and advisor, handled numerous wedding day details, organised my Hen night.
She’s got our wedding day, planned to the minutest detail, such as, adjusting my train at the altar, signing our marriage certificate, looking after Antonio’s wedding ring at the altar, whilst holding my bouquet during vows and collecting gift envelopes at the reception and also helping me to get dressed to get me to the ceremony on time. God I hope we make it on time…
The Bridesmaids – (My Girls!)
Respectively: Siena; Carina; Adriana and Valentina. They are my trustworthy girlfriends (My Girls!), have known and been with since childhood. We all work so well together e.g. the planning the Hen Doo…
There’re my support team for Lisa (Maid of Honour), with pre-wedding tasks, addressing invites. Watch out, you’ll also see them, hit the dance floor when the music start playing…
The Best Man
Jack Johnson: My Best Friend since primary school. What can I say about this guy. He’s been with me every step of the way in planning this wedding. He’s been my rock and advisor. He helped organise my Stag Doo, organised my groomsmen brigade (My Boys!)…
Jack will be giving the wedding officiant his/her fee after the ceremony, signing our marriage certificate and most importantly, he’ll be looking after Isabella’s wedding ring at the altar. He’s the guy that’s going to get me to the ceremony on time. He’ll be joining us on the dance floor with Lisa (Maid of Honour).
The Groomsmen – (My Boys!)
Respectively: Roberto; Joe; Carlo and Alberto. True pals (My Boys!) in every sense of the words. They have never let us down, assisting in planning and preparing for our big day.
Their chief responsibilities were to help Antonio and Jack (Best Man) plan and pay for the Stag Doo… and their favourite part will be dancing with dateless ladies at the reception…
