Dear Maddie and everyone,
Thank you so much for inviting me to lunch with you all on Christmas Day and also to join in the visit from Father Christmas!

I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was so nice to see Tom, all the residents and the staff, enjoying themselves.

I would like to say a special thank you to Dawn for preparing such a lovely meal and to Margaret, Sue and Jacky and anyone elsr I may have forgotten to metion, for keeping the party going.

I also enjoyed the French carole singer and the pantomime and I know Tom did. I haven’t seen him laugh so much for years – and he knew all the words of White Christmas!

Then of course, I really would like to thank all the other girls, Maddie and Mr and Mrs Punch for alwasys giving me such a warm welcome whenever I visit Tom and for caring so well for the residents.
It is such a lovely atmosphere in Whiteoaks, summed up I think by one resident saying to me ‘The staff are so kind, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else’.
