Whiteoaks Rest Home has always welcomed everyone who enters, into a warm and friendly atmosphere, much like any family home. Whiteoaks has maintained a CQC excellent rating since 2007, and were one of the top five finalists in the National Care Awards for Care Home of the Year 2015 and achieving a 10/10 rating on carehome.co.uk in 2016.

We pride ourselves on caring like only a family can by offering care that is based on true family values, such as love, respect, honesty, dignity, privacy, choice, compassion and trust.

We believe that the elders in any society are the most precious members of our community. They have endured world wars and have the most life experiences that we can only learn from, hence they should be given the respect they deserve, with a person centred approach that focuses on the individual and their own distinctive personality.

Whiteoaks prides itself on focusing on the individual needs of our service users, with particular attention to their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. We always take into consideration their individual experiences and aspirations to ensure that they receive the best possible care.

Whiteoaks Rest Home provides care and accommodation for 38 elderly adults including married, unmarried or same sex couples who might require help with daily living or just want to know that someone is on hand 24/7 to make sure they are okay.

Whiteoaks does not provide dementia or nursing care.
However we work closely with the local GP’s, district nurses and other health professionals to ensure our service users have access to the necessary services.

We want your time with us to be one of total relaxation, serenity and safety. If there is anything you may want, we will be more than happy to fulfill your hearts desires. After all our aim is your satisfaction.
